As there are more important things pending.
Did KIC stuff with the children,
i got one of my group to paint the mahjong paper brown, so that teachers can cut out the characters in "the
very big storm" book; squirrel, monkey, bear.
hajar get one of my group to paint egg carton brown to act as nuts that the squirrels collected during the storm.
Komathi combine her two groups into one (since cayla sherman and xinrong is not in school), she get them to paint paper plates green to act as banana that monkey collected during the storm.
Soon, its children's lunch, shower and nap time.
Ms rai hold a teachers meeting at 1.30pm.
She talked about KIC, "the magical ocean" field trip for the whole centre in august, staff retreat this month, surprise visit from AGM, SHQ, EDS and filming of good and bad practise of health check and washing of hands.
The meeting end at 3.30pm.
So we woke the children up late.
We rushed them through diaperings and high tea as some of then have funovator classes at 4pm.
Mother's day cake decoration event happens at 4.30pm.
I was so panic as the cake arrive late. (Instead of 4pm as planned, it come at 440pm).
Lucky only a few parents came at 4.30pm and we manage to hold them for a while.
More and more parents came.
Glad that vivian helped me to distribute the cake and getting parents to sign on paper once they recieve it,
and thankful that caleb helped in taking the cake from MPR room to bay 1.
And grateful that fadilah helped me take photos of the event.
Just a few pointer to note:
1) We shouldnt have placed the cake near shoe rack (right aft taking from MPR room to bay 1) as it is nt hygenic. We should place it on the table, and we did after ms rai told us off.
2) we should placed tissue on each table
Anyway, after checking, we had one cake that is spoil :(
Ms rai demand a refund.
So the supplier did refund us the money, but she give us the spoilt cake anyway.
I refund komathi the money.
Ms rai decided to give the spoilt cake to chengcheng n wenxin.
Tcr rose upset me a little when she commente that she wanted a cake for her child to decorate.
I did ask her yesterday is she want to purchase the cake or not, and she rejected.
And now she is telling me she want one cake.
How am i going to produce the one cake for her?
Anyway, i manage to smile my way throughout the conversation of her whining to want the cake.
And ohno! I didnt gt receipt from supplier when i pay money. Ahhhhh.
And soooooo, right after i end work at 7pm, i went to seng kang to collect the receipt.
Silly me, a lesson learnt.
Oh yes oh yes, the supplier was so nice to give me a complimentary box of puff. Hahaha:)
I smiled when parents give positive feedback about the event, and when i see the smiles on children and parents face :)
