It's wednesday.

tt's pretty fast :)

i went to school earlier at 7am instead of 730am to

-put up kite documentation

-put up butterfly documentation

-change soft board of songs and rhymes and picture talk.

prepared art and craft materials; oranges and chives.

didn't manage to cut the oranges, so i get hajar to help me with that.

in small groups, i conducted the lesson; to make orange potpourri.

the initially plan i had was to give each of them half an orange,
so that it can be easily displayed with documentation.

however, due to HFMD outbreak, we cant display the oranges.

so i thought we could return the oranges to each individual.

but.....

it's unsightly to return to children half an orange with juice dripping on the plastic plate.

hahahhaha!

now i felt dumb to give each child half an orange.

should have gotten one whole orange for each individual, so that they can bring back home.

sickening HFMD outbreak!!!!

Anyway, komathi volunteered to do orange potpurri documentation:)

wow!

hopefully she will do a good job.

field trips give me a little headache.

today, i let Ms Rai know the limited time slot of the musical field trip.

wed thurs fri 9.30am slots are all full.

wed fri 11am slots are not enough for 26chn n 5tcrs.

only thus 11am slot is enough to cater to our todd n pg size.

(i had called the sistic person ytd)

i asked Ms Rai if it is possible to have field trips at 11am as it will affect chn lunch and nap.

she kind of reprimand me as i could inform her earlier ytd since tickets are selling fast.

anyway, i manage to plan this field trip.

but it wld be wed 4pm as thurs 11am are sold out by the time i called to make reservation :(

anddddddddddddddddddddddd.

i get consent form from valerie, filled up the details, get Ms Rai to vat through, made copies and distributed it out to parents.

the parents are supposed to reply by friday with payment.

hopefully all 26 children have positive reply and are going for this musical field trip:)

ohyes, Ms Rai mention that not all todd and pg teachers will go for the musical field trip.

(as she was disappointed with the way some teachers handle the children when they were out on marina barrage on monday. hmmmm, i wonder if she is referring to komathi or me or both of us)

So, only selected teachers will get to go musical field trip with the group of chn.

Other teachers will stay in bay to take care of those chn who are not going for field trip, or help the other class teacher..

Anyway, i marked schnet today...............

and i submitted claim form for developing photos and purchasing materials for dramatic corner and buying of oranges for orange potpourri activity.

we had a short meeting at about 4pm at our bay; with hajar hirah komathi n me.

i wanted to ask Ms Rai what should i put for documentation if i take out the home science documentation since it's term 1's.

Before i could do so, we talked if we could conduct home science lessons since it's HFMD period.

She passed a sarcastic remark and said we should be open minded;

we could give each child individual ingredients so that we can still conduct home science activities.

she also mention we should try not to disrupt lessons as much as possible.

ohwells.

we just wld like to clarify,

and there our principal is, saying we should think out of the box!

Ms Rai gave the three Hs (hajar hirah and me) a task;

to plan a staff retreat in late april.

how nice if we can go these places:

hahahahhaa.

i must be dreaming :p
i don't wanna kill myself from planning this staff retreat.

shall discuss it with hirah and hajar tomorrow.

and Ms Rai asked me to list down the things of I had done for the class and the things Komathi had done for the class.

from doing wap to documentation to settling admin stuff (marking schnet, attendance list).

hmmmmm.

shall do so soon.
