a very hungry caterpillar mascot visit our centre!

Ohyesyessss.
Mid week.
And caterpillar mascot is coming todayyyy
(we jus recieve the news yesterday during staff meeting)

And so so.
The most important thing is to cover the mpr room so that mascot can change in the room.
Since komathi is working opening today,
i reminded her yesterday to cover the mpr room today.
And know what?
Smart her didnt do so,
she waited for nurul to start work at 7.30am and get her to cover the mpr room.
(nurul helping todd n pg as hajar still on annual leave).

Anyway, we didnt conduct lessons accordingly to wap.
Instead, we did kic stuff; background for swimmy mural and create a book.

And so a very hungry caterpillar mascot came. 
Nursery k1 and k2 children came over too.
It was good exposure for children :)

Everything ended at 12pm.

Thus, like yesterday, everything was delay an hr.

Lunch at 12pm.

Shower at 12.45pm.

Slpt at 1.15pm.

Anyway, i was in the toilet during children's showering time while komathi hirah and nurul was outside helping to clean the area, settle children after lunch and preparing for children nap time.

Leaving hirah and nurul outside, Komathi come inside toilet.

And seriously she is of no help -.-!

I request her to go out a few times till she agreed -.-!

It's a simple day today.

We wake chn up at 4pm since they slept late too.

After diaperings and high tea, we get children to drink water then play manipulative :)

I went off at 6.30pm.

Went to buy home science stuff since ingredients meant for last week were spoilt. T

hen when i am home, i cut and laminate the "swimmy" words, print and cut word of item of alphabets of books tt chn had colour :)

Quite an achievement to me already :)

Pray for good weather tomorrow.

I don't want to postpone field trip once again!

Hajar is still on annual leave and that would means me and komathi to look after playgroup.

Anyway, julian mum ask me about the scar on his forehead.
omg, i was abt to ask her abt the same thing too(since i spotted it ytd. Bt i forget to ask).
Ahhhh, he shld be fall down in school :(

And Amber... She complain that sherman hit her tummy.
When asked, sherman say he was playing the role of fireman and jus tapping on amber to ask her to run. Hahaha.
Cute reply or what?
But he made amber upset :(

The whole filming end at 12.
Which means everything was delay an hr.

Staff meeting about KIC from 2pm to 4pm.

We wake the children up at 4pm,
and hurry them into high tea cause some of them have topnotes enrichment.

Because valerie is doing the overall documentation for KIC,
we would all need to send photos to her,
so she can develop at one go and do the documentation.

Went home to send valerie lots and lots of photos and prepare lesson for tmr.

Before i know it, it's already 4am.
Omgness. Tired.

crazy monday because hirah alone in todd n me and komathi alone in pg!
We got the pg children to draw wat they feel about the story "a very big storm" :)

During children nap time, i wrote in comm book to inform parents about field trip being postponed to this thurs.




















Ms rai spoke to Komathi; komathi going to be transferred to tampines blk 341 in mid june.
Good news to celebrate?:)
Yay man!
But i shouldnt be too happy over it yet,
Hope i have good partner for my second half of the year!:)

Komathi on compassionate leave today.
Hajar went nursery cuz liu lao shi mc and tcr waheedah on leave.

Sooooo. Grandhi and dorathy helped me .

How i wish there's only 14 children today like previous two days.
But no!!! I had almost full attendance, 17 chn.
Only shermaine is not in school.

I take home science for one group while i get grandhi and dorathy to help with another group.
Then i swap.
End up, i did home science for whole class.
Super proud of myself :)

Just before lunch time, sherman vomit.

A little chaotic!!!

Clean up the mess, then children had lunch.

And shower :)

and slp! Finally!:)

Done with battling for the first half of the day.

Oh yes oh yes, i was sooooo sooo busy that i forget to inform cooking aunty that it's cayla bdae celebration today.

When i inform her, it's already too late, aunty had already prepared ad cooked food for high tea.

And... Cayla cupcake arrive.. Wrong spelling!

Ahhhh. It was spelt "kayla" instead of cayla. 

I called mum to inform her about about it.

She was pretty upset about it.

Yet, teachers cant do anything about it.

We tried taking out the l from the k to make it c, but to no avail.

Anyway, it was a blessing in disguise that i forget tell aunty about bdae celebration.

Because the cupcake was super small.

Lucky still gt pasta as high tea for children to eat!!!

during children nap time, i call uwizz and julian mum to ask if they can eat cake or not since they got medicine.

Julian okay. 

Uwizz cannot if cake contain chocolate.

anyway, we had a mini farewell for our interns; vivian and caleb!

Cayla mum came.

And its chocolate cupcake, so i told uwizz he cant have it cuz he sick. I say he can have pasta and barley water.
He very sad :(

Cayla mum damn irritating.
Trying to be good person?
She say "jus give since cupcake so small piece".

I wld have stand firm if cake is big size.
But cupcake really small.
So i say its true tt cupcake is small but i still need ask mum.
So i told uwizz tt i will ask mum if he can eat or not.
And so i went to office to take phone.
And i pass Ms rai a cupcake cuz cayla mama ask me give.

Ms rai another irritating one.
She say "who u calling? Gt accident?"
I say i calling uwizz mum to ask abt cake.
She say "why u now then call? Shld have call earlier during chn nap time"
I explained tt i had called earlier. But call again now cuz cupcake really small n uwizz seems upset.
She say "dun call. Parents say no means no. Dun irritate the parents by calling again and again".
And so i didnt call.

Then i went back to class.
Ms rai followed.
Then ms rai smile smile to cayla mum.

I told uwizz "sry uwizz. Mummy say cannot have cake. When u r btr, then can eat chocolate, k? Now eat pasta n drink barley".
He cried out loud.
And ms rai look at me and say "go call mum to see he can eat or not. Since cupcake so small"
Haiyooo. Say infront of cayla mum.
So it seems like i lie to uwizz tt i will call mum to check?

Cayla also irritating to the max!
she must eat medicine then can give out goodie bag.
But today, just today, she dun wan eat medicine.
Hw will the mum think sia? Like always nvr eat? But she did leh!!!!!

Anyway, she finish her medicine somehow.
And she gave out the goodie bag :)
children were all happy:)


Wu lao shi ask me to call bakri grandpa cuz mum say nt fetching and to ask sch to call grandpa to ask him fetch. 
And of course i got scolding frm bakri grandpa as he find it ridiculous for mum to contact school instead of contact him straight (which i find it ridiculous too...)

Ms rai feedback about ytd field trip being postpone.
We could have either change venue to indoor, eg: airport. Then Next time state in consent form "in case of rain, we will be heading to ____ instead"
Alternatively, we could go multi-purpose hall for a picnic. So we still bring chn out, just different venue.
Nvm, it's a learning phrase.

And and... Ms rai commented that condolences money should collect $10 instead of $5.
Standardise in futre.
So i went around collecting $5 extra.
Got naggings from some colleagues since i collect money again.

Oh yessss, ntuc member has ntuc voucher :)
i gave it out to colleagues..

Ms rai say to me and val "b prepared to wrk extra hard on mon. Gt lots of things to do. I didnt wanna spoil your wkend, so havnt comment on environment."
Haiyoooo.

Anyway, let me relax this weekend and chiong next week then!:)

raining, and there goes my planned field trip ):

Komathi on compassionate leave today.
And its raining! Ahhhhhhh! 
So field trip to botanic garden was postponed. 

I called parents at 7am.
Most parents were appreciative :)
(since they don't have to wake children up early to send children in by 8am for field trip)
Uwizz dad commented that we should hav alternative since his son is super looking forward to the field trip!!

There's 14 children today.
I made today a go-corner day since the children very poor thing cant go field trip!

Together with hajar, we allow children to play blocks, manipulative, pouring of water.
And children all make camera using manipulative.. Hahaha :)

I went around collecting money from colleagues for komathi grandma funeral..

And wohooooo. went out to buy bubble tea with hirah :)
I gave hirah and hajar motivational card :)

Like yesterday, i OT half an hour till 5 today.
I stayed back a while more at my own time own target to do film strips for "get caught reading" corner.
Left at 6pm.
