no Father;s day celebration, but there's gifts!

Ohyes, NLB emailed me a few days ago about two missing books.
We had found it and returned it.

I wanted reply email but guess i better ask Ms Rai.

So i showed ms rai the email i wanted to send to nlb.
She say she'll reply and teachers shldnt reply such important email (especially when we are going for SPARKS and every detail is important)
lucky i nvr reply sia!!

 Showed ms rai the parental tips for father's day!
She edited here and there,
and so i made the necessary adjustments.
And printed it out and distribute it to each class (which is supposed to be given out with father's day gift: kites)

 Today, hajar and i get children do painting and colouring of bees.
Thinking of putting bees in dramatic corner since bees produces honey an bear love to eat honey! Hahahaha! :)

Give out Father's day card and kite and the parental tips!:)

no keys for the laptop cupboard. what do we do?

So kim came to helped for a while.
Qiu lao shi was station at our bay too, she didnt go to k1 since there's nt emough manpower.

 Ohyes ohyes, Ms rai ask for portfolio!
I am done wif all but did not print it out.
I passed her wat komathi had done first for checking!

 And soooooooooo.
We went outdoor today (wif kim, qiu lao shi n hajar n me).
It had been a while since they went outdoor!

Mcys officer came, she checked about the health check practises in our centre and all.
Credits to hajar to helped me out wif it!:)

 Anddddddd. Ms rai went off during lunch break.
Val went for a meeting.
Hence, no one has the key for lap top!

 Forced into such situation whereby i really need lap top as i don't want to waste my time doing nothing, i asked for val permission and borrowd key frm yen ling.
 I printed portfolio and schnet :)

 Soon, its time for chn to wake up for high tea.
Right after, hajar get amber to do "i am sorry daddy" card. (since yesterday amber made her dad angry by not wanting to go home)

 I went home soon after.
Oh no! I did not.
I went to yen ling house to return her the cupboard keys!
 So troublesome.
They should give me or hirah keys for the cupboard!

 Anyway, i did parental tips for father's day as requested by ms rai!
Hajar helped me by providing me with some useful websites!:)

one day after komathi left! muahaha!

Jus get children to choose corners they wish to go.
Since its revision week and i think its time to relax a while
(especially having to go through stress of 40pairs of eyes starting at them yesterday)

The whole of nap time, i was busy with signing in term 2 curriculum guide n books n materials and signing out term 3 curriculum guide n books n materials
Ohno! Hirah cried!
Not sure what happen!
And didnt ask. 
Glad she worked till 4.30pm only.
So can faster go off! 
Not like she work till 7pm! 
Haha.

let's celebrate! komathi last day in centre!

40people visited our centre for peer learning!
Gosh. Madness.

 Komathi open the cupboard door in front of principals and things fell off -.-!
And she jus want to take water bottle, cant she wait???

 Hajar changing wanxuan cuz she pee in pants.
Komathi mia.
Leaving me to clean table (aft we did collage) and settle chn to wash hands and read books.

 Reading books to todd n pg.
Ms rai ask to lower down volume.
 But we are alrdy very soft!!! 

 Cant go outdoor as planned :( 

 Komathi last day! 
Went out to buy bubble tea n snacks for komathi. 
Call for a celebration. 

 Put plastic sheet for term 3 curriculum guide for pg n todd! 
 Wohoooo! 

Finally the last day wif komathi! 

Cldnt be any happier!

helped Nursery class today! (yet again)

I took nursery today.
With huang lao shi n tcr kim.

 18children today.
 At 9am, I read the very hungry caterpillar book to them.
Then i get them to come to whiteboard one by one to draw a food which the caterpillar ate. 

Then using mahjong paper, i draw butterfly shape n get them to decorate it. 
I said tt te caterpillar ate so much n had grown into butterfly. 

 Then at 1030am, we went outdoor. I brought them to provision shop. 
Gave each of them 10cents to pay uncle, we bought biscuit. 
Allow them to eat a little bit! 

Went back centre for shower, lunch and nap. 
 Wake up for high tea. 
Tcr kim read Books to them. 
Then i sang nursery rhymes to them, randomly. 

 At 5pm, we allow children to play toys. 
 Rizwana has fever. I called mum, dap her using towel using normal tenperature water. 
Rizwana brother came n fetch her, but he is jus 15 and supposingly we cant allow anyone younger than 16 to fetch. 
But i called dad and dad Allow brother to fetch. 
I ask val abt it. 
She allow since dad is rushing home and rizwana stay jus nxt block. 

 Knock off. 
Read pg term 3 curriculum. 
Order materials for term 3 with val. 

 That calls for a day!

KIC event 2012

Today is the day we had been looking forward for!!
Marina barrage co-operliciouz event!!

I took bus with hajar,  and with the toddler, playgroup n k1 parents.


 Upon reaching marina barrage, hajar guide the parents forward together with hirah.
Me and val collected the goodie bags.
Omg, i carries anout 40 goodie bags. I'm sure i'll experience shoulder ache soon.
Seriously heavy man!

 At gathering point, teachers distribute the goodie bags to the respective parents.

Then hajar and val went to level 2 to aid with the choral reading of 10,000 fathers reading "a very big storm" with their child.
I stayed in level 1 with hirah.

We roam around, assist parents when needed!
Basically not much work to do. Hahaha.

 Hirah went to pray, and i waited for her.
And meanwhile, BOOM! fireworks display.
Awwww, such a waste tt i didnt watch it wif hirah. She was at different venue as me!

 Overall, it was a chaotic event!

 I gt scolded by bus uncle.
Cuz i call him once i gather all my parents.
Then he go pick up point.
Then we gg walk frm assembly point to pick up point but was stopped by management.
They say we can only walk to pick up point when bus is there, which they will inform us if bus reach.
So we waited.
 Then uncle call me n say he had reach n where were we.
So i say okay, we walk there now.
Then he shouted "how come now then walk? My bus cant wait for long de. U shld walk long time ago what".
But the thing is management stop us ma -.-!

 Hais. Miscommunication sia:(
 And no clear instructions were given throughout the whole event. 
What a disappointment. 

 Anyway, its overrrrr!:)

EDS visit when komathi and hajar not around with me ):

Komathi was on mc.
 Hajar helped infant as there were shortages of teachers.

 And EDS jus have to came today.
What a day.

 I split my class of 13 into 3 groups; 6, 3, 4.
I did father's day card with one group while other two groups play manipulative.

Still managable.
Thank goodness there was only 13 children who turned up today.

 Anyway alan had fever; 38.9 degrees.
His grandma picked him right after i called to inform of situation.

 During children nap time, Ms rai had a brief meeting about (kIC event tomorrow) with me hajar val and hirah.
She had asked hirah to go tmrto replace komathi!

 I allow children to play block corner aft high tea. :)

 Oh yes, i helped hajar check library books to be returned!
Seriously nuts!
Then i returned library books with hajar.
Put the books in a trolley (which i borrowed from cooking aunty. Hehheeeee.)

Went home at 7 when i was supposed to knock off at 4.30!
Hahahahah!
12 hours in centre!
How much do i love my centre man!!
