Sentosa Staff Retreat!

Non-working saturday.

But i went back centre at about 2pm to do butterfly documentation and change the puzzle corner.
Since i am on leave on mon n tue
and "blooming with books" event is on wed
(and i cant trust komathi to do such important stuff).

After i am done with my stuff, i help val wif overall documentation :)

Soon, it's 5pm.
Staff retreat :)

Hiccups during staff retreat!
Bus uncle cant go mount fabber.
We went harbour front n took a longer cable car instead.

Songs of the sea, 740 and 840 show sold out. 
End up we gt 940 show.

Ask bus uncle to fetch us later, he refuse.
So call his supervisor instead. End up can fetch us later.

Split into two groups, some went for skyride n luge while others went for 4D prirate ride.
Skyride and luge was awesome!

Bus driver called to say he cant come into sentosa.
Gt block by police.
It was hard to believe, Hajar spoke and liase with the policeman!

Had dinner at own time own target since gt extra time.

Went for song of the seas.
Great!

We took one stop tram to the merlion cuz bus uncle insist tt his bus cant stop at song of the sea bus station n tt we meet him at merlion bus bay.

We searched for the bus bay.

Some wanted to toilet while others go 7-11 to buy stuff.

We left. I did head count.

Only 23 ppl!

Oh no, we left tcr rozana and her child out.

Lucky i manage to realise it.

Went back 7-11 to fetch them.

We reached merlion bus bay but didnt see our bus :(

Saw two sentosa staff, he guided us to another bus bay.

Still, our bus cant be seen.

This time, bus uncle called.
He scolded me up down left right.
Claiming he had waited for us for super long!

Then i pass phone to get sentosa staff to talk to bus uncle to locate bus exact location.
Sentosa staff was nice to guide us to the bus.

And know what?
The bus was at te bus station outside song of the sea!

Freaking hell.
So much so for giving us wrong direction.
Asking us go merlion !!

Lucky ms rai kind of uds n didnt scold as much. 

On the bus back, ms rai recognise our effort and ask everyone to thank tahirah for planning and thank me and hajar for guiding and transportation! 

Its a great saturday.
Staff retreat was AWESOME though there were hiccups. Hehehe.

no evidence of kic at our bay yet again!

Worked at 9am-6.30pm today.
And the first thing i notice when i came to work was our reading shelter was moved to the other bay.
So our bay is empty yet again :(

So to fill up the empty space,
Hirah on the spot do caterpillar with todd by crashing newspaper and place it in plastic bag, as well as painting brown paper into green(colour of caterpillar)

As for me, i on the spot do butterfly with my group of pg by tearing magazine and making it into a collage.

Komathi jus went into the mpr room with her group of pg to contain them since her group of children keep walking around.

Anyway, she didnt take initiative to ask what's going on too.

Soon, its 11am! Super super fast.

So, lunch shower nap.

During children nap time, I went office awhile. 

When i came back to class, i saw yao zhu mattress wet.

I told komathi that yao zhu pass urine,

she say "i know ah".

Wth? Then what is she waiting for? Expecting me to change??!!!

Anyway, i did change yao zhu!:)

When children are awake from nap time,

komathi panic as she has not been doing anything in the afternoon.

She suggest doing bushes for the butterfly with her group of pg. i agreed.

As half of the pg went for funovator enrichment,

another half of the pg was with me.

I get them to explore in discovery corner while komathi prepare materials for them to paint the bushes.

After about 10min, she came to discovery corner and sit down with me.

She commented there's no green paint and she cant do anything.

I get her to go the other bay to get it.

She went, still, there's not enough green paint.

And she dilly dally about preparing materials for children to paint. Haiyooo.

And i send children home.

I saw xin rong's shirt filled with green paint and i question komathi.

She confess that she didnt get children to wear apron before painting.

Sigh. She really really too much!

How can she be a preschool educator with such attitude?:(

Anyway, shouldnt let her spoil my friday :)

At least i did closing with hirah today.

Botanic Garden field trip, uni orientation..

Change shift wif tcr cheng cheng
as i nd to end wrk earlier to make it to uni orientation which starts at 6.30pm.
My shift was then 7.30am-5pm :)

I Came at 7am to cut apples for home science.
When i went to our bay at about 7.15am,
guess what?
Plates (which was washed ytd) was not kept.
Window blinds nt open!!
And who is working opening?
Its dear komathi!

And i found her personal notebook on the table. 
So for the past 15min, she had been writing in her notebook and neglecting all the rest?
Hmmm, i wonder.

Anyway, preparation for field trip was madness.
I packed the bag.
I named the diapers, extra clothes, caps, raincoats.
Then put in home science ingredients, gloves, tissue, plastic bag in bag.
Ensure that first aid kit, contact list, name tag are brought!

And and... We finally go for the field trip to botanic garden.
7 toddlers, 17 playgroups(isaac was sick and didnt come to school).
Together with 6 teachers; hirah nurul hajar komathi valerie and me.
and 1 parent (yao zhu's mum)

Upon reaching the botanic garden, some of my pg children who are toilet trained (sherman, julian, shermaine, xin rong, joe and alan) want to go to the toilet.
Hajar wanted bring them but Komathi want to go toilet too.
So hajar suggest that komathi bring children to toilet instead.
Komathi insist she duno where is the toilet and want hajar to tag along.
End up they go wif 6 chn
while i am left with 11 children and 1 parent (yao zhu's mum)

I continued with home science lesson with the 11 children.
So proud of myself man!:)
Glad that children enjoyed the process of spreading kaya/peanut butter on bread and eating it together with sliced apple :)
They also enjoyed the hello panda biscuit and the chrysthamum drink.

We leave botanic garden at about 1130am :)

Everything was delayed again. Jus like the previos two days.
Since we only reach school about 1215pm.
We had lunch, shower and nap.


During children's nap time, i close the whole field trip account with receipts and money with valerie.

Oh yes! Vivian came back for visit :)
Hehehe.

Soon, its time for children to wake up.
By the time they finish diapering and high tea and temperature taking, its almost 5pm.

And so i went off for my Uni orientation!
made new friends, get to know more about the modules we are going to take.
and Ohno!
There's already pre assignment for first module!
Jiayou. 22months will pass super fast :):)
