Mondayyyy!

Still in national day mood! But another occassion coming up!

We get children to do ketupat by pasting small squares onto bigger squares:) hehehe!

I did food stock take during chn nap time. Ahhh, so time consuming man!

Oh yes, i overheard conversation between ms rai and val. 

Ms rai asking val to conduct meeting with those who are not present during the previous meeting.

I then passed val the minutes of meeting, schedule of who submit items forenightly for checks, and list of chn who had items missing. 

Since i was with val, i discuss wif val abt hari raya celebration.

Hirah ask us wake chn up at 3pm!! She gt nth btr to pinpoint us.

Heiirishaa pass motion thrice, sent hm during nap.

Shermaine fever, 38.7 aft nap, sent home.

1. uwizz bite joe on his left arm. i wasnt too sure exactly what happened bcoz was attending infant parent who had query. lao shi was not aware what happened too. checked joes arm, it was blue black but no teeth mark. so idk exactly what happened also but told joe n uwizz parents ard.

Fridayyyy! Wohooo! 

I collected fees for shai frm infant. He waited for me to check 3 children for arrival.

I asked for bc number and ong, dad dunno. So I went to infant take contact list to knw bc number as file is not in office!

Still in national day mood, we had lessons. Hahaha!

During chn brk time, val brief me on food ordering of dry food(per month) and wet food(per week) and food stock checking. Ahhhh! Cant believe its all gg to be my job soon:( 

When i am done with food inventory, i saw hajar and hirah busy hanging hari raya stuff. So i just helped a little too :)

Yay! Getting ready for next occassion!:)

And at 9pm, i rmb tt i had forgotten to ask hajar help me do settlement of nets during closing. !!!

SoI went back do settlement myself after dinner with family. Get keys from cook aunty, lucky someone is at home to pass me the keys as aunty is outside!

National day celebration!! Finally!!

But:( 

Dress code is ethnic clothes -.-!

Hirah hajar n i suggest red and white. But val say wear ethnic clothes, to celebrate racial harmony too(since ppl frm her bay didnt wear the other day). And she say tt anyway, singapore is a multiracial coutry.

End up. Wu lao shi, tcr kim, huang lao shi all wear red and white wat -.-!

And most of my chn wear red n white too.

Everyone gathered at other bay at 10am!

Valerie played history of singapore! Omg! Seriously, so nt age appropriate la!

Then ms rai came over and commented tt tcrs have no initiative and dont knw wat is going on!

(i was seriously pissed to hear tt bcuz i did bother to ask val if i ndto plan program for national day or nt n val say she had it all planned. How wld i knw she wld play history of singapore of all things!!!!)

Then i offered to play the powerpoint i made. It is a singapore flag. Each star and the cresent moon had a singapore song! Hehehe ;)

Children enjoyed and participate in it :)

We had fashion parade since some children were wearing different ethnic clothing!

Then todd n pg had lunch at the other bay too.

Todd and phg came back our bay only at 1pm?

Shower the children and all slp at 1.30pm.

Tts an hour later than usual.

So we decided to wake them up later too, at 4pm instead of 3pm.

As aunty had left, the teachers clean the mattress. Hirah say it was tough work as it requires lots of bending movement.

And so i went off at 4.30pm as usual for school!

Its mondayyyy.

But no monday bluessss as its a short week as it is national day week. Muahahaha!

a 2hours meeting with ms rai and all eng teachers make monday blues come back once again. Haiyoooooo.

 

We talked about a lot of stuff; 

-ms rai being promoted to executive principal

-new system in placed; parents allowed to come into centre during arrival and departure

-CCTV will be installed in centre soon

-we are expecting 50 visitors, of which include CEO of NTUC, on 28th aug

-to wake children up on time

Its a heavy heavy meeting. Lots of information!!

Anyway, wake children up after meeting, had high tea. And i went off at 4.30pm.

Friday, which means home science day!

We did milo popsicle todayyyyy!

Went out with cassandra as i need to buy new ziplock bag for children who are newto playgroup class; simcha, kathleen, xavier, jia chen :)

Cassandra bought lunch and bubble tea!

Gave out parental involvement letter, and returned their previous parental involvement items:)

And i did timing of children going home from 6.30pm-7pm for the month of july as valerie needed the satistics.

Today is the day!

Mcys officer came to check for the award thingy! 

Morning, we had lesson. Get children to trace shapes on mahjong paper.

Then ms rai say mcys people coming in the afternoon and that we should shower by 12 (half an hour earlier than usual)

So after lunch, we rush the children to shower and sleep.

Hirah and hajar was called into mpr room for briefing before mcys come.

Cassandra helped todd n pg to pat children sleep.

Meanwhile, she shared with me abt komathi! I was so shocked that she dislike komathi's action as well, especially talking about boyfriend all day and night!

Mcys came at 1.30pm. They were in mpr room with ms rai, hirah, hajar, val and roz.

Me and cassandra continue talking until 2.45pm when i slowly change children's diapers (this is usually done at 3pm when they wake up, but i am afraid that cassandra cant handle the class while i do changing later on). 

By 3pm, i finished changing most children's diapers,

Then i wake them up.

Jus at this time, mcys officer came out frm mpr room and left!

Hirah was sharing with me that when mcys officer opened the door, they asked "is it time for children to wake up?" as they saw me and cassandra folding mattress cover for children.

Ms rai then confidently answered "they wake up at 3.30pm".

Omgness!

After hearing what hirah said, i was so afraid tt ms rai might scold me for waking the children up early without hajar and hirah. But on second thought, i did te right thing to wake the children up as i was merely following daily schdule.

Anyway, it was a relief when mcys officer left!:)

Start of a new month!

That means Tcr cassandra is back in centre :)

And that i have a new child in pg: simcha. She was accompained by mum for an hour before she was left in my care. Her mum then came in again at about 11am as she brought vegeterian food from home.

Simcha left after shower:)

During children lunch time, Hajar and hirah was being pulled out of class to do award thingy as mycs officer are visiting.

I am left alone wif tcr kim and tcr cassandra.

Both of them look aft chn outside while i shower children.

Both hajar and hirah was finally done with areangement of things in mpr room at about 4pm!

Ahhhhh. Cayla was hitten by basket aft playing wif wan xuan and she gt a wound on her forehead!

Hajar called to explain to mum as she witness the incident.

It was a tiring day.

Something to be happy about, it is midweek:)

Today, we manage to get chn to paste precut cresent moon n star on the flag they painted:)

Yay! Singapore flag making complete!:)

We had fire drill at about 10.30pm!

Everyone hurried out of centre and went to gathering point.

Ms rai commented that we are too slow in reacting and should improve on timing the next time round.

I finally put wings on bee and hang bee display during children nap time.

And i transfer documentation (house made of sticks) frm big board to dramatic corner board. I replace rhe big board with shape collage.

I also removed field trip documentation and replaced it with parental invovlement.

Fruitful day i should say :)

Back to work after a long break!

It's nice to see the children once again.

And of course nice to see hirah and hajar!:)

I don't know is it me or what, but children seem to be sick. Some had flu, some had cough, ming xuan vomitted and Heiirishaa pass motion twice. Hmmm.

Anyway, we decided to do singapore flag. But individual ones instead of a big masterpiece.

Initially, we get children to colour s'pore flag since we had been practising about scribbling for the last two weeks.

However, the effect doesnt turn out nice.

So we get children to paint s'pore flag instead :)

Left it to dry.

Guess we can only do pasting of cresent moon n stars tomorrow.

And omg! I called up help desk to change my password for skool net and campus net. I was so Irritated by the person to the max! She asked me to on and off my computer for at least three times. Yet, problem unsolved, i did not managed to change my password!

I was so pissed off as i spent about an hour just on that.

Managed to cool myself down somehow. knocked off at 4.30pm and left for night class!

One last working day before i go on 3day leave!

Janani fell while running during activity.

She hit onto cupboard and had a cut.

It was a scary experience as blood were oozing from the wound, it seem like a deep cut.

Hajar helped with compressing the wound while hirah called up her parents whom came almost immediately to fetch her.

The doctor say that janani had to have 5 stitches to close to wound.

Awwww.

Sad that such accidents would happen :(

And it's a super weird day.

By 5pm,  i still have 17 pg and 6 todd with me. Total of 23 children with 2 teachers left -.-!

(usually there will only be about 18 children by 5pm..)

Anyway, alan was the first to go home at 5.25pm!

It was a hectic day.

Uwizz wet himself.

Darius vomit (in enrichment class)

By 6pm, there were only 10 chn left.

And jus nice, valerie came to help for a while.

(what a bad timing.guess she wldnt believe what i had feedback about having 12 children at 6.30pm with 1 teacher).

And at about 6.45pm, Kathleen wet herself. Cayla mum was here to fetch cayla but she insist to wait for kathleen -.-!

And Xavier mum was late in fetching him; 7.15pm.

What a chaotic day.

But well, i am on leave for the next three days,25th-27th july :)

Term 3 wk 5 day 1!

Hands on, tracing of things.

I provide manipulative of different shapes for children to do tracing!

While some children were playing at the learning corners while me and hajar conducted lesson, Heiirishaa nearly bite yen wei. Omgness, lucky we managed to stop it!!

Pretty slack during children nap time. I went out to buy plastic tongs for practical life skills corner. Buy bubble tea too!:)

During departure time, accident occurred :(

It happened like this, i was sending isaac off while qiu lao shi was left with the class. 

Mingxuan hit cayla wif the manipulative aa cayla snatched it from mingxuan.

Cayla got a big bump on her forehead!

I hate this, explaining what happen when i didnt witness it. Especially to not-understanding parents like cayla's mum!

At 6.30pm, there were only 5 children! All clear by 6.50pm.

I went back centre on non wrking sat to clean up the store.

Its neat and tidy now.

Super duper proud of myself man!:) 

I watched chn play for uni assignment.

I didnt collect tickets beforehand. Scare te hell out of me when i read the conditions from my receipt that one should collect tickets of show at least one day before show day.

I called up sistic and managed to talk to the person in charge who say i can collect my tickets at the venue itself. Scare mex

It was a great show with awesome effects!:)

Racial harmony tomorrow!

Me hajar hirah qiu lao shi wore costume to pre celebrate the event!:)

I come sch earlier to hang flag. It keep dropping until i put contact paper :) it took me an hr and a half to hang the big big flag!

Did home sci; peanut butter cookie!:)

Ms rai suddenly say ppl from HQ coming down. And so i packed up the mpr room a little (now the store is in a freaking big mess)

And guess what? Ms rai ask me to take down the flag cuz ugly :(

Sadnesssssss, really!

People from HQ came down during children nap time.

I did my uni report for a while then me hajar hirah started to came camwhore.

Not long later, Ms rai join us.

Awkward moment, hahahahhaha..

Xavier parents had made arrangement to have PTC wif hirah so i stayed till 7pm to help out!

I feedback to val abt 12todd pg at 6.30-7 wif 1 tcr! 

She say aunty suppose help.

And she say last time she alone wif 15 chn since 5.30pm!

Hmmmm.

Guess my comment will be chucked aside.

Hands on; toys printing.

Yay!

Get them to do toys printing using different shapes.

Me and hirah ordered domino pizza with te intension of celebrating hajar bdae in advance since fasting month is coming. We told hajar we ordering domino pizza as coupon is expiring soon. 

We ordered lava cake too!:):)

While waiting for food to arrive, i marked schnet :)

We then had a mini pre-celebration for hajar with pizza, lava cake, bubble tea :D

Yen wei bdae celebration in the afternoon for high tea.

Mum brought Cake chicken nugget, sausage, jelly :)

Ahhhhh, i don't know if it is halal or nt. I didnt cross my mind till uwizz dad ask.

I jus say yes (though i didnt check) bcuz i dun wan dad have chance to say we careless and all :(

Should be more sensative next time!!

Baihaqi had a cut on the elbow!

I ask him what happen and he say fell at swimming pool.

I was shocked when mum ask me when she pick him up aft sch. Mum say baihaqi say fall at slide and mum wan knw if he fell outdoor.

I explained to mum abt him saying he fell at swimming pool.

Mum then realise he fell at slide at swimming pool ytd night!

Scare me!!

And yes, there's parental involvement again next week! So i gave out letter :)

Today, i collected fees of kathleen n jasper :)

(what i learn yesterday using nets was useful as i can relate and put it to use for collection of money yesterday and today)

Hirah on leave today, this time qiu lao shi did not stayed in todd whole day. She went k1 at 10, Hajar was asked to help todd. Fadilah helped me wif pg.

I did up a powerpoint slide whereby songs were added to the cresent moon and five stars on the singapore flag. When clicked,  national day song will be played. Children were all engaged in listening and following the national day songs through actions like waving, clapping and swaying :)

Me and hajar continued with getting the children to decorate singapore flag. We get children to glue tissue paper on cresent moon and five stars!:)

Ohyes. Me and hajar was taught how to collect fees from parents and settlement for Nets machine in office.

I had 11 children at 6.30pm, and i am all alone!!

Aida, Xavier, Kathleen, Janani, En qi, Cayla, Amber, Haziq, Uwizz, Yen wei, Wan xuan.

This is really baddddd!

Even at 6.45pm, i am left with 5 children.

En qi was the last parent to come and so i collected school fees of her.

I went to janani house to pass medicine, as i forgotten to return jus now as i was too busy with sending off so many children. 

I am thinking if we shld feedback abt insufficient teacher at 6.30pm.

Because handling 11 children alone during sending off is challenging especially when some of my children are in te midst of toilet training!

Hirah on mc today, and so qiu lao shi stayed in todd for the whole day.

Me and hajar get our children to scribble on white paper using red crayon. Thinking of doing singapore flag, a big big one to be hung as mobile display :)

Afternoon was fine. Just get children to go into corners after high tea and get them to drink water before playing manipulative.

Working half day today as i had curriculum training in the afternoon.

Hajar went for curriculum training in the morning!

And so, i am the only main teacher in pg. Huda helped out!

I did circle time with them; hocky pocky using shapes(parental involvement).

It was fun fun!

Huda took a group too, and she seem to enjoy as much as the children :)

I was asked to work OT for 1.5 hrs till 12pm.

Bt i stayed till 1240pm jus to finish showering my chn and settle them for nap time :)

Went for curriculum term 3 training! Yay, claudia was in the same training as me!:)

Hirah went for term 3 curriculum training in the morning!

Tcr roz was on mc, so hajar go k1 help a while. that wld means me alone with pg class.

Lucky Wu lao shi came over. She tool half a class for chi lesson. So I take another half for home science. We did shape sandwich spread with peanut butter filling. 

I did with the whole class as lao shi and i swap group after we are done :)

Was so busy with home science till 11am; lunch time. And i realise i didnt manage to gt them to drink water.hahahaha! (that would means them drinking more water in the afternoon)

Anyway, afternoon was great!

Cause hajar came back frm te other bay, and hirah came back from curriculum training!

Sooooo. Power of H unite :)

Oh yessss.

Waheedah treat us to ice cream.

And Hirah treat me and hajar to koi!

Wu lao shi take half of my class for lesson in mrning.. And so me and hajar get the other half to do scribbling.

It was an effecient day as we pack cupboard during children's nap time. Wohoo:) 

Sense of satisfaction!:)

And yay! Parents contribute to paental involvement. I have 16 out of 19, still short of isaac's, baihaqi's and alan's.

It's wednesday, so it's art and craft day :)

We did shape collage with the children,

I am really grateful that hajar is my partner. She is seriously wayyyy better than komathi,

At least hajar conduct lesson and even prepare materials :)

Conducted hands on; scooping with small beads.

Some children were engaged in scooping wif large beads. (what we previously taught)

It's already term 3 week 2.

And i feel that we need to change to corners.

And so i searched the store and changed  manipulative toys, as well as, discovery toys :)

I also changed fine motor corner into a puzzle corner.

I included chinese books (which joe mum contribute) into the library corner.

Childrn were all excited with the new things in the corners when they woke up. They explore the manipulative, read the new books being placed and went to discover the toys in discovery corner.

I knock off at 630pm today.

I need to return ladder to its original place, so i went to the other bay.

Tcr roz was there doing closing alone.

And suddenly the door bell rang and an unfamiliar person appeared at te door, wanting to fetch hovan. I was there to witness the process whereby he keep using actions to lure hovan out. We insisted that we will give hovan's dad a call. I even offered to bring this person to the other bay to make the phone call.

Jus then, hovan's dad appeared -.-!

He was jus testing if we will let hovan go off with unfamiliar person or not.

Seriouslty, it is NOT funny!!!

Lucky i went over to the other bay, if not, tcr roz will be alone handling the situation.

And of course, a good thing that both of us are alert and did not let hovan off with the unfamiliar person!

Monday blues!

Seriously so when i am alone in PG with my 19 children!

Cause Hajar got called to office till 12plus?:(

I am proud of myself, as i still manage to conduct lesson.

I put children in learning corners and i conducted lesson; scribble on paper.

I think i want to laminate those paper which they scribble on and make it into place mats to be placed at dining room(since they learning abt dining room). Heeeee :)

Oh yes, i introduce to them the three bear masks which i made over the weekends.

They were all excited over it :)

And since hajar is still in office at 1145pm, i did showering on hajar behalf.

Finally, hajar was back in class about 1230. And so we get children to sleep.

I prepared parental involvement letter and the materials(ice cream stick, different shapes template and colour paper). I bought ziplock to place all these inside. 

Hajar suggested to write on the ziplock that parents are to return parental involvements items inside ziplock :)

Great idea, we seem to be more systematic this way.

Oh yes, Uwizz dad comment "parental involvement again ah?" "uwizz, u do urself k? Dun always papa do"

And Cayla mum commented that we should give parental involvement over the weekend.

Only 5 chn; yenwei, wanxuan, wei liang, junyi, si hong came today.

Wohooo.

I make wanxuan n yenwei paint mahjong paper brown as i wanted to make brown bear mask :)

Time pass super quickly as me and tcr roz chitchat while children are aslp. Heeee.

Oh yes! Xin rong parents didnt come for PTC as requested. Haiyo, its the second time that they didnt come after making arrangements with me!!

Anyway, half a sat is gone. I shld cherish my other half of sat and my sun!:)
